Minimal Japanese Distro

Ive looked and searched for something that possibly doesnt exist.

I would like to find a minimal distro (like Vector Linux) that incorporates
Japanese input. Does this exist?

I have tried - and failed everytime - to get Japanese input under Vector
Linux. Is there a better soloution?

The system

Pent II 266
192mb Ram
Realtek 8180 wireless card w/ Ndiswrapper
Currently running VL 4.3 (but really needing Japanese input)

Somebody help!

I know that TurboLinux is based out of Japan... but I don't think it's a very minimalist distro.. it's a very well-polished high-performance (and old) distro...

Perhaps Debian?? I don't know if it has Japanese or not, but it's got a LOT of stuff for it.. and it can be made small..

Also.. without looking for Japanese for VectorLinux 4.3 -- have you looked for Japanese for Slackware 10?? If so.. it would work.. because that's what Vector 4.3 is based on.. good luck!
