Mepis and VMWare problem

Hi,

I have installed SimpyMepis 3.3 and tried to install VMWare 4.5.2 on top of it.
Because the kernel headers were needed, I installed them using Synaptic but for my surprise, the kernel headers do not match exactly with the binary kernel version installed ( I tried with 2.4 and 2.6), of course executing vmware-install.pl was not possible for the lack of the right headers.

Any idea ?

Thank you in advance,

Alberto

Hi

You will need the kernel headers package from the Mepis Repository
