MDK 9.1: sound works though not in games, artswapper error need setuid root + other
 

Hi

I just installed mandrake 9.1. Only one problem sound dosen't work for games like chromium and the "tux and samon game". Sound works for system notification in every window manager and mplayer and so on.

The game sound works when i loog in as root however. I also get the error artswapper can not work in realtime priority not alowed, run
it as root or setuid root. The sound problem is not exclusively for kde though. How do I change the permissions so I can get sound on all my accounts in games and solve the artswapper error.

I have a couple of other problems/questions:

1: The blackbox windowmanager does not start when I choose it from the gui log in screen. Where do I write what in some textfile to solve the problem ?

2: Anyone tried to get wacom grafire 2 to work on mdk 9.1 using the 0.4 or 0.5 beta driver from the wacom for linux project ?
