Making Acroread my default .pdf reader?

I've looked and read in my manual and I still can't find HOW to make Adobe Acrobat reader my default .pdf viewer???

whenever I open a .pdf file KGhostview pops up.

I did read in my Suse 8.0 Manual that by default Kgostviewer will run and I SHOULD change it so acroread will open up.

It tells me I should do this but doesn't tell HOW to do it. GASP!

I know somewhere in here there's a setting to change this. I've seen it before but I'll be darned if I know where it is now.

Thanks everyone for helping me on this silly issue.

If you are using KDE have you tried right clicking and selecting "open with" ? In there I think you can select a program and then find a box to click that some something like "also associate with file type"

That should do it

I can't believe I missed that. I was right there and in the open with I typed in acroread adn NEVER even looked at the bottom and saw.

remember application association for this file type.

Insert sound of "Thwacking head on keyboard"

Thanks for you help!
