Lubuntu 16.04 to Powerbook G4

Hey everyone...
I've been tryin to install Lubuntu 16.04 on my Powerbook G4
that runs on Tiger..
Downloaded the iso onto a pen drive but that didn't work.
Created a Dvd with the iso..
And I've been getting to the 3rd stage of installing where it
blinks and freezes making it virtually impossible to install..
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
BEst

Really silly question so forgive me if you have done this: you are using the PowerPC install of Lubuntu, correct?

I agree with someone commented in the youtube link. That Debian may be better and doing the netinst. I had the better experience with my G4 Mini Mac & Debian. But this was years ago also.
