Looking for "older" distribution isos

Greetings all,

I'm looking for ISO images for the following "older" GNU/Linux distributions. So far Google has not produced anything, nor some of the torrent search sites. If some could help in anyway, I would much appreciate it.

For i386:
  • CentOS 3
  • CentOS 3.1
  • CentOS 3.3
  • CentOS 3.5
  • CentOS 4
  • CentOS 4.2
  • Mandrake 7.2
  • Mandrake 8.1
  • SuSE 9.0
  • SuSE LES 9

For x86_64:
  • CentOS 3
  • CentOS 3.5
  • CentOS 3.6
  • CentOS 4.1
  • CentOS 4.2
  • CentOS 4.3

I need these for compatibility reasons (QA testing). Searching the CentOS mirrors is fruitless for me, their mirror system only pushes the latest release (lame).

Likely SuSE cannot be found because everything before 10 was commercial, but I believe an end user with the CD's is able to distribute ISOs.

Thank you for your attention and any help you can render.

http://www.centos.org/modules/tinyco...ndex.php?id=15 for the CentOS stuff.

Try this mirror for older distros. I see it has Suse 9 and Suse live 9 (I assume that's the other one you're looking for) as well as Mandrake 7.1 and 8.1. YOu might have to look around somewhere else for 7.2...

Thanks for the help, but the CentOS mirror system only promulgates the newest ISOs. For example, directories exist for 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, etc but they all contain the 3.7 (the latest of the 3.x series) isos.

You mentioned a mirror having some older stuff but I only saw the link to the CentOS mirror system. Is that the link you meant for SuSE and Mandrake, or is there another?

Doh, it was another and now I can't find it! It was an ftp mirror from indiana university...

ah, here it is...

That's pretty stupid about the CentOS mirrors. Have you emailed the webmaster? At the very least they should take down the links if they're not going to supply the iso's...

Thanks for your help. I already had searched that Indiana server before posting. Some of the CentOS versions I can get from Linux CD Mall, leaving only the older Mandrake and SuSE versions as unavailable.

Since all the CentOS mirrors behave the same, I think that is how the CentOS project wants the ISOs mirrored, everything symlinked to the latest.
