Localhost Login...okay but I can't. Using RH8.

I'm using Red Hat 8 with GRUB.

On the screen after everything loads it says

LocalHost Login:

I made a user account when I installed it but I can't login in with it. When I try it says "login incorrect".

Do I need to login with the root thing? Any help would be appreciated because I really want to get linux working so I can at least go online with my computer.

When you installed Red Hat 8, did you create a user account besides the root password you were prompted just before that? If you didn't create another account at installation, then login to root and enter the password you chose in order to create a user account.
