live distro that will read MAC hard drive.

I have something that I am not sure if I can do with Linux but I have to ask. I have a hard drive that is from a MAC. The hard drive works but the MAC is dead. It needs a new power supply but that is not the problem. There is data that is on it that needs to be taken off. Does anyone know of a live distro that will read the drive and let me copy the data ether to another hard drive or a flash? I think that it is a G4. Thanks for any help.

Any PPC live CD should have HFS/HFS+ support built in so that you can mount the drive. Unless you are trying to read the drive from an x86 machine? Still, HFS support is in the kernel, so it doesn't matter if you are doing it from a PPC or x86 processor.

It is a Mac, by the way.

unfortunately it is the only MAC that I have. All I have access to is P4 2mhz PC.

Yeah, I know it is a MAC, and it is going out the door very soon.
