linux live cd to show off?

Ok well I am looking for a Live CD/DVD hat I can pop into a machine, boot it up and it just works, no configuration (or as little as possible) and hopefully some beryl or whatever, some pretty eyecandy, 3d desktops, etc. etc.

sounds simple enough?

the purpose for this is to show of linux to all my vista obsessed school mates and IT teachers (who most of them know nothing about linux)

any suggestions for such?
I dont mind remastering my own live CD/DVD just that my only linux machine is quite old and the reason it needs to be a live cd is so i can run it on our windows XP machine which has a much more capable graphics card without it touching the HDD and damaging my familys beloveded windows blah blah.

thanks in advance,
Ducky.

Knoppix. I can't say that I like the KDE interface, but it's a very good liveCD.

PCLinuxOS

This is the distro I use and recommend, Why because it works right out of the box. No need to configure Everything, everything just works. It also comes as a 1 CD install that is a live CD that you can install later if you wish.

Cheers

Jake
