Question Linux for iMac G3 333 MHZ

I have an old PowerPC iMac G3 333 MHZ and I would like to have it running soon. It currently has Mac OS 8.6 (really old) running on it and I don't know how to use it. Will Linux XP run on my iMac? If not, which distro will?

There's an entire website dedicated to linux distros that run on PPC hardware:

LinuxXP isn't on that list but there are numerous distros that will at least install on it. iMac and later is considered "New World" in the website's terminology.
