Smile Linux Distributions...?


...Would like some input on some of the easiest, best
graphical (media oriented) Linux distributions & pretty reliable...etc...? (ex: RedHat,Mandriva,Xubuntu, Edubuntu, Kubuntu, Ubuntu, SUSE...others.)

After trying 113 over the years, the ones I currently recommend are

Mint: vanilla Linux — no-one seems to dislike it.

PCLinuxOS: rolling-release (continuously updated, so no new versions to switch to) and very friendly.

Salix: enterprise-class stability (the programs may not be the latest versions, but they always work perfectly) without any hassle.

plus
AntiX, for tiny vintage computers: full internet access in 128MB!
Uubutu Studio, for musicians
