Lindows or Lycoris?


eeh someone said that Lindows is the same as Lycoris Desktop... doesnt make sense to me arent they different OSes?

They are different/separate distros, and I think you'll find that most people here would advise you to stay away from both! If you want a newbie-friendly Linux, then go for Mandrake or SuSE. If you want a distro doesn't want to call itself that, and that almost all Linux people aviod-like-the-clap, then go for Lindows. If you want a distro that is nice and cutesy, is easy to install but is a bugger to admin because it doesn't come with the necessary tools, then go for Lycoris/Redmond.
