Kubuntu 5.10 Breezy Badger will not install!

I downloaded and burned data cds using both U.S. mirrors linked from http://www.kubuntu.org/download.php. I already have Kubuntu 5.04 (hoary hedgehog) installed on my desktop.

I rebooted my computer and inserted the data cd immediately to interrupt booting, and nothing happens. It simply just ran normal with hoary hedgehog, as if nothing was in the cd drive. At first I thought the mirror could have been corrupted, so I downloaded the second mirror and burned it, and then checked it with md5sum. The iso was not corrupt, but when I went to install, the same problem was repeated.

Does anyone know what happened or why this is happening?

HELP ME! THANKS!

Is your BIOS configured to boot from CD-ROM first? You might want to check that setting. Hope this helps!

yeah it is, just to make sure I had tried installing one of my old debian cds and it worked. so then I tried breezy again and it didn't do anything so I had to put hoary back on. Since I've installed other ones multiple times trying this whole thing out it is definitly set to boot from cd

thanks though..

have any other ideas?
