KT400 Support in Red Hat 8.0?

I was wondering if there is any support for drivers and hardware for the KT400 chipset, specifically for the VT8235 AC97 Audio Controller in Red Hat 8.0. If anyone has any info please respond!. Thanks

Yes, I just bought a KT4 Ultra and you will need the 2.4.20 kernel (I don't know if the modules for sound for this chipset where in 2.4.19 or any of the pre releases)
This is what my kernel config looks like for the sound to work:
x x <*> Sound card support x x
x x < > ALi5455 audio support x x
x x < > BT878 audio dma x x
x x <*> C-Media PCI (CMI8338/8738) x x
x x [ ] Enable legacy FM x x
x x [ ] Enable legacy MPU-401 x x
x x [ ] Enable joystick x x
x x[*] Support CMI8738 based audio cards x x
x x [ ] Inverse S/PDIF in for CMI8738 x x
x x [ ] Enable S/PDIF loop for CMI8738 x x
x x (2) Number of speakers 2, 4, 5, 6

You can change the speakers around or enable the stuff you have, but that will get you sound.
