Knoppix v3.3 - I've got a problem
Hi all,
I just downloaded off the internet Knoppix v3.3, but, when it asks what to boot, i just press enter, it loads a little bit, but the next screen just goes black, without doing anything! What could it be?

Do you know what your monitor screen resolution and refresh rate are? You might have to change knoppix to start at a lower resolution. Check out this site for the option(s):

Ok, I solved the video problem, but... it just says:
Uncompressing Linux.. Ok, Booting kernel.
It keeps saying this without doing anything! What could it be?

Try this:
knoppix 2
Runlevel 2, Textmode only
You should end up at the command prompt again after loading up. See if any errors show up, if not, then type startx and see what happens.
