It's being advertised (and used) as a security and recovery
system. If you wish you can use it as a hacker-tool, too.
Just go to their website and read, rather than posting
l337ness stuff on LQ ...

Moved: This thread is more suitable in Linux-Distributions and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.
And seriously, it would have been so much quicker for you to go to the Knoppix website and look at the information provided than posting and waiting. As much as STFW and RTFM are annoying and sometimes patronising, this info is out there and doesn't take much searching.
