Knoppix or Gnoppix?

I assume that "Knoppix" got its name prefixed with "K" for the simple reason that it has KDE as its desktop environment. Is there a distro called "Gnoppix" with a Gnome Desktop Environment? If yes, where is it available?

Please provide me with the website.

Google is your friend. A simple search will provide you with your answer. Knoppix has a "K" because the guy who made the distro has the last name of "Knopper".

Hi,

yep, there's something called Gnoppix. It runs on GNOME 2.10. The main difference between Knoppix and Gnoppix is that Knoppix uses KDE and Gnoppix GNOME and that Gnoppix is based on Ubuntu (Knoppix is based on Debian testing).
Download here. Just select you're favorite server.
