Knoppix forum - new user sign-up problem?

Has anyone else tried to sign-up as a new member onto the official forum of The Knoppix distro recently?

I have been trying to sign-up for the past 2 or three weeks, but I have had no luck. I did not receive any email correspondences from any of my attempts to contact the sight. I even emailed webmaster@knoppix.net on Jul 28, and still no response. When signing up, I used my normal email, and on my second try, I used a different forum name and my backup email (from a different domain), checked my spam folders and all that.

I was afraid that the forum was dead, but then I checked posting dates and discovered that new messaged are indeed being posted to the Knoppix forum.

Is anyone else experience difficulty becoming a member of the Knoppix forum? perhaps, if you are already a member, you could bring up this issue from the inside.
