knoppix comment

I have been playing around with linux for about six months. Still very much a newb because I don't devout much tie to it. I did however find that knoppix was a great help recovering data from a crash Windows ME system. Having never used it before I was able to recover important data, burn it to cd. This was without access to the internet intially. I was also able to connect via dial up to find some answers to questions on recovery. Thanks to knoppix developers for making my life much easier by avoiding DOS!
