knoppix 5.1.1 hdd


iam trying to work on knoppix 5.1.1 live cd on a box whithout a hard disk every time it the knoppix boot it halt at
look for cd in:/dev/hdd
it worked with the failsafe mode so i guess i have to disable the hdd detection or something..can any one help me

There may be kernel boot parameter to disable HDD detection (i'm just guessing)

A search on google should get you a list of linux kernel parameters if you don't have them handy.
