Kali Linux: official list of testing tools?

Hi. I heard about Kali Linux. I don't actually want to use it directly (I'm happy manually installing programs on my Wheezy system); however, I was interested in researching and learning about the various network/pen tools selected for the current Kali distro. The Kali site advertises that 300 of them come preinstalled. Is there an official list of those 300 programs somewhere?

Moved: Kali Linux may be a pentesting tool but your question isn't about Linux Security. This thread is better off in the Linux Distributions forum and has been moved there.

*Kali is based on Debian so you only need to get the "Packages" from the repo (mirror) and grep for package names.

It will give you an idea of what is there. If you want an up to the second answer, then just look at your kali repos. The packages are named kali*...

Code:
apt-get update; apt-cache show kali-linux-web
for example. Its so easy to list the tools from the packages, i doubt youll find an up-to-date list like you want.
