iso version downloads


i have a intel p3 1 ghz, a t-bird 1.33, and xp 1800 athlon

when i download iso,s- should i use the i 686,586 , 486, or the i 386 architecture

also, i am trying to run command to see what kernal verison i have with the red hat i have installed. is the command- username -r

why should "username" show what processor you have? first it doesn't exist and secondly it'd be somethign to do with users i'd imagine. i guess you confused it with uname.

as for what iso... p2 or greater is i686
