Since it uses debian sid , yes it is a rolling release. The only real differences between sid and sidux, 1) sidux is a livecd, 2) sidux can be installed in 5 minutes, 3) the sidux kernel, scripts, and artwork. Otherwise it is pretty much just debian sid. If sidux ever dies , just install a debian kernel and your good to go.
There is nothing sidux can do that you can't already do with debian sid, other than perhaps the 5 minute install.
