Question Installing suse on a powerbook G4


Topic. I can't find the IP for the SuSE server, and mine is given out dynamically by my ISP. What can I do?

Check the suse website.




If your having trouble the path is probably wrong.

I used this for install..

mirror.mcs.anl.gov

path is like this..

pub/suse/i386/9.0


I use this one for updates or install of new software in yast... (it's the same server) You will understand after install.

ftp://140.221.9.138/pub/suse/i386/9.0


Answer from dig mirror.mcs.anl.gov
