Installing SuSe 9.0 - Couldnt mount hda Error

I downloaded SuSe 9.0 and burned the ISO image onto a cd, I rebooted the computer and put the manual instalation mood. After that, it asked me where did I want to install linux from so I put my hard drive hda as the option. later, it asked me to type in the path so I do but then I got an error message saying it couldnt mount the hard drive.
After that, I tried to do it trough network and ftp but it dint detect my network card so that dint work either, any suggestions on what I could do to fix this?

Try to find your question on the boards first before asking, myself and

You are misinterpreting what the install is asking you. Not WHERE you want the install to go, where do you expect the information to come from. After it downloads all the stuff, then you will have the GUI that asks the questions about the local machine.
