installing Gentoo
How, theres no ISO's for the 2004.3 version, just tar.bz2 packages. I need Gentoo cuz I need a Linux distro thats compatible with the Intel 925X chipset (if you know of any, please tell me) So, where are the ISO's?

Any other distros that come with a 2.6.x kernel out-of-the-box?

slackware 10.1 has 2.6 as an option
Gentoo 2004.3 has 2.6.10 as an option as well but takes several days longer to install

Only if you have a reasonably average system, a Gentoo install will usually take around a day, less if you have a nice CPU.

Fedora, Suse, Mandrake, Yoper,... most of the major distrobutions come with the 2.6 kernel as standard now. Not sure about Debian though.
