I screwed up YAST2, Modules won't load

I think I screwed up my system, I couldn't use Online Update because it was taking so long to initialize with the servers, so I went to www.suse.com, and started to manually update some patches. Anyway I updated some Yast2 package manager updates and now Yast2 Modules won't load, I can no longer configure my system, Can this be fixed? Do I have to re-install?

I'm not sure what you can do but most things can be solved without a reinstall. I reinstalled SuSE about 6 times when I first got 7.3 - thinking like a W98 user ;-) abd then one day I thought - "there must be another way" Then i did the same with SuSE 8. I'll never do it again!!!!!

yast won't start at all? do a cntrl/alt/f2, login as root and type yast. will it start in ncurses mode?

I did a re-install, first I copied all my files to my windows partition, then re-installed and had everything configured in an hour, not bad, still don't know what I did wrong, but from now on I'll stick to the automatic updates.
