I need a good DIST.

Ok i tried mandrake didnt really care for its dual boot it loaded on my pc. So i did the red hat 7.2 thing. It worked great then it died on me. So i am going to try another dist. of linux. I need one that will boot with a floppy no dual booting becuase i need my windows for school and my linux for play ;) So what other dists are out there that are good for a linux Newbie?

You can opt to not install a bootloader in almost any distro and make a boot floppy, that's no problem. You may look into SuSE or Caldera for a newbie-ish distro, or if you really want something that works, go for Slackware or one of the Debians. They are only a little more difficult and you need to configure files more, but in all, they just work better. Same as BSD's which is actually what Slack bases alot of itself on still.

Go here to linux .iso files

They have almost every distro you can imagine.
