I have troubles with RedHat 8.0 !!!

Hi All

Well, I could get myself a copy of RedHat 8.0.

I could not deal easily with it, especially the file manager in the Su mode.

Also, xmms did not work at all.

I could not find aumix in the menu list, I had to type aumix in an xwindow to get it.....This is very bad for me because there might be some other programs that I dont know any thing about, and yet has no item ( or icon ) in the main menu listing so I will go without knowing anything about them....after all, I am a beginner.

Also, xemacs was not available from the main menu....you see it is the main menu that I complain from.

and the style of icons is not that much good too. for example a texfile should have the tex sign on it so that one can find it easily in a glance.....

I am now running redhat 7.2 again....

do u ahve something like that, or do u have remedies to these problems.
