I finaly got the parts i need for the media center (tv tuner cards, tv out cards) well i herd about a distro that hadfreevo build into to it (which means me not having to try to figure out how to install an linux OS to the hard drive without a pretty gui to go with it. (i'm still a noob) yet it seems that freevix has vanished. i tried their main site, look for mirrors of it nothing. I even tried out there project site hoping at least that would work but freshmeat says there is no such project. what happend to this distro? and does anyone out there still have a copy?

thanks for the help

According to Distrowatch, Freepia is a distro with Freevo built in. The Freevix distro looks to me as if it died.

prob is that one is only really able to run on those fanless mobos, i tried it on a normal mobo and it just sat there after it was done booting, then i press the power buttion and it shows it shutting down.
