How to install SuSe 7.3 with Inter 845G
 

As you know, Kernel with SuSE 7.3 is 2.4.10.
It is a very old version that can't work with Inter 854G,include network card(Inter Pro100/VE),Hard Disk and graphic card(845G),
How can I do?I know I should create a driver update media,but mine didn't work.
So does anybody can give me a detail information for my problem

well if it installs at all you can compile your own kernel, or install onto hd in another comp, compile kernel there then move hd back after setting it.

Now,I can not install it on my PC.It can't recognise my hard disk.
I think I should update the kernel at the start of installayion.
How can I do?

that is a highly advanced question, I kinda know how, but have never done it and never want to have to, it requires using another computer to compile the kernel, add it to the cd image, make sure the syslinux stuff is correct (no idea how) then use the new cd to boot. and even then you have trouble with some stuff that is installed, it is not practical to upgrade kernels until after install. get a newer os version is the best idea.
