How to install phpmyadmin in Scientific Linux 6 x86_64

Has anyone installed phpmyadmin in Scientific Linux 6 (x86_64) and had success?

If anyone has any guides/tips it would be great.

the same as any red hat based distro

if you did not install the server group at install ( lamp stack)

Code:

yum grouplist

then install the server group
or

Code:

yum install phpmyadmin
