How to create an installable, slackware or debian-based cd (NOT a live cd)

Hi,

I'd like to create an installable distribution on cd.
I fount a lot of articles on the net on how to build a live cd. Problem is I don't want a live cd. I want to create a cd that boots and launches an installer, and then installs a distro.

The distro should be based on Debian or Slackware, not being from scratch.

Can you point me to resources where how to do this is explained? It must be a common question, given the huge number of distributions out there!(*)

Thanks a lot!

(*)-Please don't start "there are already too much distro out there" whining - I want to do something rather specific and that AFAIK still does not exists, that must fit quite particular needs but that I want to install on any other machine.

Ehm... I confused the billion tabs in my browser, so I posted this in this section... that's of course senseless. My shame

Can the moderators move it where it belongs to (I think general should be appropriate...)

Thanks and sorry!
