Unhappy Help me pls !! Gnome 2.4 can't see new font

I use slack 9.1 and Gnome 2.4
I added new font to the system and xfontsel could see my new font but When I used Gnome, it couldn't see a new font.

Um.. I tried to use Netscape on WindowMaker, I could see a new font in the setting font menu.

I guess every program of gnome such as, gedit galeon , etc. that couldn't see new font
