Hi guys,
I have been asking this question for long time but yet the problem is not solved please help me.
I bought new laptop lenovo 3000 y 500 series, nvidia 7500, 2GB RAM, 120Gb HDD, I downloaded Fedora 7 and installed in my laptop. when working first time i felt happy and enjoyed hearing songs. I rebooted the system after first boot it went in to the text mode booting and throughout the error that one of my input device mouse is not detected and with the option yes and no a dialogbox appears and gets hanged.
In the same forum i got one answer that is i have to stop the GPM service and reboot the system. i did and next boot same thing happened little bit different it went in to graphical mode and get hanged.
can anyone help me to solve the problem. i was like fedora but fedora ?

The first question I would have for you is if you did a media check before you installed? frequent errors creep in when you burn with anything but dao and at 8x's
If you have your original ISO you can then reburn it if it was bad, sorry but if you have a bad burn only a re-install will fix what you are faced with.

all we need to know is if the media check finished with a positive reply that it was good and ok to use, then this can inquiry can move forward.
