I want to dual boot, but i dont knwo what to get, Debian, Suse, or Slackware? I tried Kubuntu and really didnt like it, but perhaps that was just me, and i believe i tried Mandrake (10?) a year and a half ago and really hated that.

SuseyBoyGenius - I have split your post into it's own thread as it is it's own question. Try searching LQ - this comes up over and over again.

You have to decide what you want from a distro?
Are you a newbie in linux?
Which distros you have used?

which distros you prefer? debian based ( usind dpkg and apt-get ) , rpm based , or you want to compile everything from source yourself?

It too me over a year to find the perfect distro. Gentoo!
My suggestion: Try different ones (well known and not so well known) and eventually you will find one the clicks.

Ditto that... you have to decide for yourself which one suits your tastes and needs. I've been using Linux for 7 years and still play around with different distros from time to time.

Good luck with your search...
