GuixSD...
https://www.gnu.org/software/guix/

Quote:
The Guix System Distribution
Liberating. GuixSD is an advanced distribution of the GNU operating system developed by the GNU Project —which respects the freedom of computer users.
Dependable. The GNU Guix package manager, in addition to standard package management features, supports transactional upgrades and roll-backs, unprivileged package management, per-user profiles, and more.
Hackable. It provides Guile Scheme APIs, including high-level embedded domain-specific languages (EDSLs) to define packages and whole-system configurations.

Sounds interesting. Might have to take a quick look at it.
Edit - bleh. They make it a little more effort than I'm willing to put into it to test it in a Virtualbox session. Give instructions for qemu, but nothing else. Guess I won't help test.

Like @Timothy, I would really like to give this a go & install but there is no support regarding anything of sunstance. Nothing about Hurd, so one can understand whats going on. At least make an overview of the OS on Youtube, even better an install guide.
Otherwise it's sounds really Gr8..
