Good Distro for my office with 4 networked computers?
 

I'm starting an office and want to run Linux in it. I'd intended to have one computer running XP but I need a distro for the other 3 computers. I need to have it set up so that two users can do as they want, one can do and see only what we want and would like it so one computer has all the info and the rest are just workstations. Or at the very least, you know, I don't have a clue what would be easiest so please just give me some advice if you have it. I need something with a good gui..

For me, Mandrake is the best distro "out of box". Everything works fine, all hardware is well configured, and it has "a nice gui".

Well it depends on your hardware. Are all of the computers you intend to setup identical? Also what are your long term plans? Some distributions are better supported and more "professional" then others.

I would suggest that you give Conectiva 10 a try. I found it to be easier to install and administer then Mandrake 10 Official. Also Conectiva looks A lot better then Mandrake 10.

Webmin will help you setup your office LAN and servers without having to use a lot of scripts or Terminal sessions.

Both Conectiva and Mandrake support Webmin.

I would also agree with mandrake. It should be easy to configure and hopefully you can get through with out any major problems :D :D
