gnomecc in SuSE 9

Hi,

When I type gnomecc in the terminal I recieve a Command Not Found error. I checked the packages installed and there is gnome "control-center 2" installed. There's also an earlier version. Now that I have installed the earlier version gnomecc command does work but not properly (it is not in syns with the changes in my desktop). Now is this normal?

btw, there is "gnome-control-center" file in opt/gnome/bin but until I installed the ealier control-center version there was no "gnomecc" in there.

gsu command also doesn't work.

I've heard that SuSE's gnome implementation is somewhat lacking, how can I make sure that my gnome installation is alright?

I'll add my name to this post too. I noticed that I had no launcher in my menu for the Gnome Control Center. Yast reports that both versions of Gnome Control Center are installed, yet I have no "gnomecc" file in /opt/gnome/bin.
What's going on here?
