[SOLVED] Gentoo Linux 2005.0 installation
Hello everyone, I'm trying to install Gentoo linux 2005.0 for AMD64, I have a problem. Trying to mount the swap and the partition where linux should be installed, the computer prompts an answer such as "device busy":
#swapon /dev/sda7 (I have a SATA HD)
device busy
#mount -t ext3 /dev/sda13 /mnt/gentoo
sda13 already mounted or /mnt/gentoo is busy
I tried to umount sda13 and /mnt/gentoo but naturally they are not mounted. Where is the problem? Thank you for your help

What is the output of "mount" on its own? Not "mount device", just "mount"?

Hello,
First of all i have to say that the tag [SOLVED] is a bit confusing. I haven't seen any explanation haw to solve this problem. I am no Gentoo newbie and I must say i haven't encountered this kind of errors before. I've managed to install Gentoo from 2005.0 live cd on few machines but unfortunately mine is opposing
I really don't know why does is appear.
Would appreciate if someone checked it and hopefully solved it.
Best regards
