Gentoo compile over dial up: feasability?

Is it feasable to compile Gentoo in a reasonable amount of time using a K6-2 400 with 128 MB RAM connected to the net with a 56K modem? I have settled on blackbox as my WM for the moment, and will get KDE much later.
