I want to know what is the relation of freevo and geexbox. Are they separate? or did they split? or same project with two versions? i want to know about th relation, with freevo and geexbox through past and future.
yea, thanks, let me tell you, please tell if i am right.
Freevo is a platform of HDTV and multimedia , which supports Xine, MPlayer. It comes with a Mandriva live CD (is it mandriva?)
GeeXboX is a purely live CD based OS, and not somthing which can be installed as a package.
Now in geexbox 2.0 geexbox is going to be build upon freevo technology, and use its packages.and freevo's live cd will become geexbox.
please correct me.

Freevo is simply a MediaCentre that pulls all the MultiMedia functions together in one place. If your graphics card has HDMI then you can hook it up to a HDTV.

Freevo is not included on the Mandriva One cd. You can however add it after installing Mandriva One to the harddrive.

This I know nothing about. What is Freevo Technology? Why would Freevo live cd become GeeXboX? Where are you getting this information from?
