ftp SuSE 9.0 install problems user.sel not found

Good Afternoon, I am attempting to upgrade to 9.0 using the ftp solution. I have purchased SuSE professional 8.1 and have burned the SuSE 9.0 installation CD from linuxiso.org. I have also copied the entire directory structure down to my local server here. I ftp'd most everything from "ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/SuSE/i386/9.0." I left out a few of the larger directories such as 9.0/SuSE/noarch and 9.0/suse/src. These are the only two directories that I did not bring down. I am attempting to put this distribution onto a dell Optiplex gx110. I am able to load ramdisk into memory and go through yast up to the point where you get your update options. I am unable to find any software from my installation media. I keep receiving an error message stating that there was no user.sel found. I am stuck at this point. I do not want to have to use the SuSE ftp site simply because of time constraints and the fact that I might be doing several updates. Any help would be appreciated.
