FreeBSD Change RES

I just install FreeBSD and im using KDE. I was wondering how do I change the RES or change the Video driver?

Ok, to change the resolution in FreeBSD is the same as in linux for the most part. You'll need to edit the XF86Config file by hand most likely. I recommend you read up on it at or just ask here i think the file has enough comments in it that its easy to figure out.

Type "/stand/sysinstall" at the prompt, no quotes. From there you will get options to change your resolution and also do many other things. I think for changing the resolution you choose "Do post install."
