SuSE Pro 9.1: Finding a modem driver?

Hi all,

I have SuSE Professional 9.1 and my winmodem isn't working on it. YaST detects it, but when I start up KInternet, the logs say that the modem doesn't respond (exit error 8). I tried wvdial, but it can't detect my modem. So, I was wondering if I someone could help me get some drivers for my modem to make it work.

Modem specs:

Device Type: PCTEL Platinum V.90 Modem
Manufacturer: Compaq
Attached to: COM3 (PCI Slot 2)

If you need anymore information, feel free to ask.

Thanks in advance!

Check out
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/pctel-linux/

I guess you need "pctel-0.9.7-9.tar.gz" driver
Download and install and see if it works.

Before that, can you post the output of
/sbin/lspci
and
cat /proc/pci

Type these commands like this in the console/terminal.
