Expand the Linux - Distributions forum with Debian

What do you think of expanding this part of the forum with a Debian specific area ? Just like the Slackware one, etc

As its a good idea, the whole concept of adding distro forums revolves around having a member like from the actual distro or making it more official.

Like the LFS forum we have Mr. Beekmans, the creator of LFS answer questions, etc here.
Slackware, we have Mr. Volkerding registered as a member and were linked from the Slackware site.
And Conectiva, we have riel from Connectiva that is registered on LQ to help out a bit.

So jeremy is working on others to join, so possibly in the future we will have a Debian forum..

yeah....it would kick all those damn debianers off the distro forum and let people with real problems get their questions answered.

Debian is _the_ distro, I love it, apt-get is my best friend Im going to get it running again on this machine as it was before I decided it was time to try out the latest Redhat offering - been bogged down in work ever since and havent had time to re-install.

i would probably mostly hang out in the debian forum section - this alone should be enough encouragement for them to create one ; )

I think this poll may be a little biased, considering only true debianers have actually looked at this thread.
