dual boot problem

trouble installing a dual boot-wind xp and suse 9.1

had 2 hard drives setup on raid, but only installing this on one drive

did maxtor low level format, made 2 partitions, installed windows xp first on one.

when i begin the suse install, i get an error-something about raid and see about the raid software.

i don,t get it , i have only one drive attached, raid disabled on the motherboard, but it will intall suse 9.1

then when i get suse installed and boot , i select which operating system to boot into, windows, i get a text mesaage and it will not boot into windows. the message in hd0,0 and chain rig 1 or something like that.

thinking i might have to use another drive, suse seems to read a raid structure on drive
