Arrow Dream Linux: nothing in /usr/src???

Hi there, does anyone out there use Dream Linux? It's a live-CD based on Morphix that I recently installed to the hard drive of one of my computers. After booting the machine I noticed that it doesn't pick up my network card, so I decided to recompile the kernel.
Oops, there's nothing in /usr/src!
After that I tried compiling my own 2.6.18 kernel myself, but it seems I'll have to do a bit more configuring than I origionally planned on doing if I go that route (certain modules won't load, x server won't start up (probably have to reinstall nvidia drivers), network card STILL not configured properly (yes, the appropriate driver is in my kernel)) so I decided to see if anyone here (their forums are useless, mostly all in Portuguese, English section is extremely lacking in active users) knew what was up with this blank /usr/src business.

P.S. I promise I don't usually use brackets to this kind of extreme (seriously).

I just downloaded dream myself yesterday and had exactly the same problem, tried ndiswrapper but modules not found etc.. There is a post in the forums with a link to the kernel source and headers somewhere which I downloaded but haven't had time to extract yet so can't say if it's any use.

Edit: My card uses acx111 chipset and acx module included in the zip file so I did get my card working. Various other modules and a kernel image included as well as headers.
