Personally I don't see a reason to go from Red Hat 6.2 to Mandrake 7.1 as they are fairly similar (although from what I hear Mandrake will pick up some of the newer hardware better). Are you having a problem with Red Hat? If you are just looking to try out a new distro I would recommend either Debian or Slackware.

Thanks by the feedback. I haven't problems with Rh 6.2 but
i'll to try with new hardware improvement that offer Mandrake 7.1 such as Usb management because i've a usb modem in my office .-
