i still can't quite get over the thought that dos's dirgey edit is the slightest bit comparable to pico or vi.... it was better than edlin on DOS, that' was nasty...

pico's da way to go (vi was fun too but quite an ass to learn), if you're in x server then i'd prefer nedit
